Under this proposal, new owners are not allowed to have trades processed until they have participated in four (4) simulations.

I think 4 sims is a lot...thats 1 full month of "game time" Id be ok with 1 or 2 sims.

Right now I would say no since as someone said earlier we are new GM's here. Perhaps a similar rule could be put into place for future GM's. On that topic, the commissioner of one league I am in puts out a statement telling all other GM's that a new GM is "off limits" for trade talk until the new GM posts a trade block. This gives the new GM a period of time to look over the organization and see who they do and do not want to trade.

Yeah I think the rule is meant to apply for future GMs, not for the ones that just joined this last few days. I like the "off limits" statement as well, but the problem I see is people joining the league and immediately making a trade without fully knowing their teams, and then regreting it. Or people making trades and then soon after changing teams because their favourite team opened up, or similar situations... Cheers!
