There are a bunch of teams that are way in the hole with their payroll. I had given TB a bailout because of what Strack had done to them, but in the interest of fairness, I'm going to offer a commissioners bailout to all qualifying teams. The bailout will be in the form of 85% of the difference between the teams budget and their combined staff and player payroll as listed on the financial report screen OR 85% of the amount your team is negative in cash. That can be found here: mlm.tonyfrancissports.com/reports/news/html/leagues/league_100_financial_report.htmlThe requirements to be eligible for the bailout: - Team must be over budget or in negative cash reserves by at least $10M
- Agrees to not add payroll during 2017 season and 2017-2018 season through trades and/or Major League FA's.
- Will have league minimums for scouting and player dev budgets for 2017 season.
- Will not be eligible for the next commissioners bailout if one is offered. (No plans to offer again at this time. Is at commish's discretion.)
If your team is interested, please reply in this thread with:
Team Name: Budget: Combined Player and Staff Payroll: Current cash amount: Amount of bailout requested up to 85% of difference:
Once I get your request, I'll discuss the specifics with you each individually. It is not guaranteed that all qualifying teams will receive a bailout. Any questions, let me know.

Miami Marlins 108,000,000 current budget 131,732,500 player and coach 61,232,806 current cash I will take whatever bailout seems fair...didn't do enough homework on the financials...sorry.
Commish's Edit: Request denied. Due to high cash reserves as well as the current GM adding payroll recently to go over budget, they are encouraged to cut payroll in other areas to balance the books and look at options to decline arbitration in the offseason. While the finances are stretched, they are within control by next season.

St Louis Cardinals 172,000,000 current budget 123,015,000 player and coaches -33,000,000 cash
budget wise i seem to be manageable but the negative cash reserves is really hurting me and my bottom line is projected to be in the negative due to previous GM not paying attention to budgets. I also had to let many players walk since the budget was so tight and that's with me spending minimum on scouting and zero on player dev.
So i would like that part to be fixed. Whatever seems to be fair.
Commish Edit: GM has withdrawn the application.
